Drape your furniture in the romance of a 19th-century botanical library with The Botanist Transfer by Iron Orchid Designs. Inspired by the title page of B. Maund’s celebrated publication The Botanist — conducted with the Rev. J.S. Henslow, Regius Professor of Botany at the University of Cambridge — this transfer set captures the full grandeur of that era’s botanical scholarship wrapped in breathtaking Rococo ornament.
Four oversized sheets work together to compose a sweeping scene: lush cascading garlands of blush roses, cream peonies, and climbing blue morning glories tumble around an ornate gilded oval medallion, tied with flowing silk ribbons and anchored by the stately period typography of the original title page. Apply the full composition to a large cabinet front for a showstopping statement, or cut individual garland sections and floral clusters to accent smaller pieces.
