Spell it out in style with the Harper Decor Mould by Iron Orchid Designs — a complete lowercase alphabet (a–z), digits (0–9), and punctuation marks in a bold, characterful serif display typeface inspired by Victorian wood-type poster lettering. Cast individual letters in IOD Decor Mousse or air-dry clay and apply them to furniture, frames, trays, signs, and boxes to spell names, words, monograms, and phrases in genuine three-dimensional relief.
The Harper typeface has the warmth and personality of a vintage fairground or circus poster — bold, rounded serifs, slightly irregular letterforms, and a hand-cut quality that reads as artisanal rather than mechanical. Each letter is a standalone casting that can be arranged and rearranged before adhering, giving you complete flexibility to compose any word or phrase. Use Harper to personalise a child's bedroom cabinet with their name, spell a favourite quote across a headboard, label a kitchen pantry shelf, or create a bespoke house sign. The digits 0–9 make it equally useful for numbering, dating, or adding a year to a commemorative piece.

How to Use
- Press your chosen medium firmly into each letter cavity, working carefully to fill all serif and stroke detail.
- Smooth the back flat with a palette knife or your finger.
- Allow to set or cure fully according to your medium's instructions.
- Flex the silicone mould gently to release each cast letter.
- Arrange the letters on your surface before adhering to check spacing and composition.
- Adhere using strong craft adhesive or gel medium.
- Once dry, paint, gild, dry-brush, or wax over the letters to integrate them with your piece.
Tips for Best Results
- Cast all the letters you need before adhering any — lay them out on your surface first to check spacing, alignment, and composition.
- Use a ruler or level to keep letter baselines consistent when adhering.
- Lightly mist the mould with water before pressing in air-dry clay to prevent sticking.
- For IOD Decor Mousse: press firmly into all serif cavities, scrape the back flat, and allow to air-dry for 8–10 minutes before releasing — letters are smaller elements and release faster than larger moulds.
- Paint letters before adhering for easier coverage of all faces and edges.
- For a gilded letter effect: paint in black or dark navy, allow to dry, then apply gold wax or gold leaf to the face of each letter only.
- Prime cast pieces before painting for best paint adhesion.
