Expand your heirloom ornament collection with the Bibelots 2 Décor Mould by Iron Orchid Designs — the sequel to the beloved Bibelots mould, featuring five all-new ornament silhouettes. A classic round bauble, a stately bell with turned finial cap, a bold geometric diamond/kite, and two heart shapes — one with a delicate scallop border, one with a beaded dot border — all with smooth blank interiors and hanging loops cast directly into each piece, ready to paint, gild, stamp, or layer with IOD transfers.

Like Bibelots 1, every element in Bibelots 2 is designed as a blank canvas. The smooth faces take IOD gilded foil transfers beautifully — apply a Tinsel angel or a Figgy & Flourish botanical to the ornament face before the medium fully cures for an impressed effect, or apply a gilded transfer after painting for a luminous finish. The two heart shapes are particularly versatile — use them as Valentine’s ornaments, gift tags, or decorative wall hangings year-round. IOD Micro-Rims™ and Measure Marks™ are built into the mould for cleaner castings and precise media measurement.

Design Applications

• Cast a full mixed ornament set combining Bibelots 1 and Bibelots 2 for a cohesive vintage Christmas tree display

How to Use

1. Press your chosen medium firmly into the mould, working from the center outward to eliminate air pockets.
2. Smooth the back flat with a palette knife or your finger.
3. Allow to set or cure fully according to your medium’s instructions.
4. Flex the silicone mould gently to release the cast ornament.
5. Once dry, paint, gild, dry-brush, stamp, or wax to finish.

Tips for Best Results

• Use the Measure Marks™ on the mould to measure your medium before pressing.
• Lightly mist the mould with water before pressing in air-dry clay to prevent sticking.
• For IOD Décor Mousse: press firmly, scrape the back flat, and allow to air-dry in the mould for 10–15 minutes before releasing.
• Add a ribbon or twine loop through the hanging loop before the medium fully cures to create a ready-to-hang ornament.
• Prime cast pieces before painting for best paint adhesion.
